What Are the Special Benefits of Telephone Counseling?

Telephone counseling is often more convenient than in-office counseling.  With telephone counseling you can schedule a confidential appointment at a time and location that suits your busy schedule – whether you are at home, in your office, or during a business trip or vacation

For clients who want to resolve issues about embarrassing problems, telephone counseling provides greater confidentiality than conventional face-to-face counseling.

Is the Client Charged for the Cost of the Telephone Call?

Since your counselor telephones you for each session, you are not charged for the cost of the telephone call unless you request that the counselor call your cell phone or you have metered calling on your phone line. In those cases, all cell phone or metered phone charges are the responsibility of the client.

During the initial telephone session, you will be asked to provide the telephone number that your counselor should call in order to contact you for your telephone counseling session.  The counselor calls you at the agreed upon appointment time.

What Are the Payment Options?

There are three payment options.

We accept payments via credit card using our website's secure           electronic processing. To use this payment option, please go to the Gallery on our website.

We also accept payments by check or money order. To use one of these payment options, please send all checks and money orders -- made payable to CCS Training Services -- to our offices at 850 Euclid Avenue; Suite 425; Cleveland, Ohio 44114

To keep costs at a minimum, we do not invoice our clients. Payment for each telephone counseling session must be made before the beginning of each session.

We recommend that clients plan ahead when making payments by check or money order to ensure receipt of payment before the day of the appointment.

For your convenience, you can prepay any number of sessions.

How Do I Get Started?

Review our Prospective Client Questionnaire, our Telephone Counseling Disclaimer, and our Client Consent Agreement

Telephone us at 216-830-0977 if you'd like to arrange a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss services and the options that may work best for you.

When you call for your initial 15-minute consultation, you will talk directly with your counselor to help you determine whether the counselor and the service are right for you. Have your questions ready. No personal questions for the counselor, please.

Your counselor will ask the following questions:
1. To help you decide if telephone counseling is for you, the counselor will ask for a brief description of your concerns that you would like to discuss in counseling
2. To help determine if this is the right service for you, the counselor will ask for your responses to the Prospective Client Questionnaire.

How Does Telephone Scheduling Work?

Your appointment time is held exclusively for you. It is important to be available for your telephone appointment with your counselor.

The counselor will telephone you at the appointed time and if you are not available, your counselor will call once again in five minutes. If you are not available for the second call, the counselor will assume that you were unable to keep your appointment and a no-show fee will be applied to your credit card.

You should make every effort to be on time because your appointment will not be extended beyond the scheduled time as a result of a late start.

If you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason, please telephone your counselor to provide at least 12 hours advance notice of cancellation.

If you call to cancel your appointment, but it is less than 12 hours before your appointment time, you will be charged the cost of the session.

If you cannot keep your appointment and do not call to cancel, you will be charged the full cost of the 55-minute session.

If you need to end your telephone session prior to its full length, there will be no refund.

If you need to interrupt the session for any reason, there will be no refund and the appointment time will not be extended.
